HERE COME THE NEWLYWEDS!!!!

So there is this great show on ABC on Sunday nights and Jon and I LOVE it. Its called "Here Come The Newlyweds". It is pretty hillarious. It like a new version of the old newlywed game that used to be on TV. The contestants have competions every week that test how well the couples know each other. Jon and I play along everyweek and we ROCK at all the answers.
We have got to find out how to get on this show!! Wouldn't that be fun?

Well here's our favorite team the Moutra's.

They are so hillarious and totally liven up the show. We really hope they win.

Babies

So I know this is a random post but i found this poem the other day i really wanted to share.

On the 18th Jon's cousin, Buggy had a beautiful baby girl, Grace. She was born with HLHS, which basically means that the left side of heart is severly underdeveloped, and without surgery she would not be able to survive. She's had a rough start but seems to be doing good now with the treatments planned for her. Anyways i found this poem and wanted to share it.

It's a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels, to go live on earth, and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus "I don't want to leave, I like it here, and I will miss you". He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that she is just going for a visit. She is still not swayed on this idea. So Jesus kneels down, and says, "How about if you leave half of your heart here with me and take the other half with you, will that be okay?" The angel smiles and says, "I guess that will work". But the little angel is still a little scared. She asks,"Will I be okay with only half of my heart?" Jesus replies,"Of course you will, I have other angels there that will help out, and you will be fine." Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says "When you are born, your mommy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart". "Enjoy your time with your family, play and laugh everyday." "And when its time to come back to heaven, I will make your heart whole again. Always remember that you are not broken, just torn between two loves."

My cousin Carol also had a baby in October that had some problems after she was born and they just recently found out the she is allergic to many things, with the biggest on being milk. This will defianetly be a big change in their whole families life. It has just made me realize alot lately that you never really know what could happen at anytime, and to cherish every day.

PILOT SLOT!!!!!!!

I just have to write anid say how proud and excited I am for my man Jon. We found out today unexpectedly that Jon got a Pilot slot!!! Yahoo. For those of you who don't know what that means, it means that after he graduates in December he is guaranteed a spot at Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT). And he will defianetly be a pilot for the Air Force. Im so excited. We've been waiting for so long to find out if he got it or if he got something he didn't want as much. But we won't find out where or when he will be going to pilot school. We won't find that out til probably October of November. But the options for pilot training are Ohio, Mississippi, Texas, and Florida. After Pilot training he is hoping to get the f-22's which then we could be stationed in Alaska or Virginia. This is all pretty exciting for a little girl who's never lived outside of the Cache Valley Bubble. We don't expect to move until about a year from now. Thats all we know for now. I just wanted to post and tell everyone how proud I am of Jon. I LOVE MY PILOT.

Time For Some Wedding Pics!!!

Well Jon and I have been married for 2 1/2 months now so i decided it was due time to add some pictures of our great day. We were married November 17, 2007 in the Logan Temple. It was a beautiful day and the weather was great. I was afraid that it was going to rain or snow but it didn't, thanks heavens. I think everyone waiting outside for us was cold but i had way too many other things on my mind to worry about that. ha ha

This is a good collage of some of our good pictures. We actually took most of our formal pictures the week before the wedding and that was the best idea ever. Then on the wedding day we weren't so rushed and didn't have to worry about getting all the pictures that we wanted. We took our time and just had fun.

I love this picture. Jon just looks so happy. And he's so darn good looking in his uniform.

I like the picture that shows the pretty details of the back of my dress, the beading was also on the front, wrapped around my waist, and down the back of my train.

We were so lucky to have so many people come to logan to be with us. Thanks everyone who came from so far.

This is Jon's Grandpa Johnson's 1930 Model A that he had restored. In August we went up to Spokane and hauled it down to Logan so we could use it at our wedding. It had always been a hope of Jon's to get to use the car and Im so glad we did it. I'm not gunna lie, when he first told me about it i wasn't too found of the idea. I didn't really want to ride around in a stinky old car and then have my dress smell all day but i totally loved the car and loved driving away from the temple and driving down Main Street in Logan with out "Just Married" sign and having all the people honk and wave at us. Defianetly one of the highlights of our day.

Ok so Jon has a total fetish for boots so i found some white boots to wear under my dress. I just love this picture.

This one is mostly just to show my bouquet. Thanks to my best buddy Kamille and her mom Kristine for their great work on my flowers. I loved them and they were way better than I would have come up with myself.

Finally this is our poor Jeep that got trashed but I've now learned that this a huge tradition in the Johnson family to go all out on the cars. It was even up on cinder (sp) blocks so it took us a minute to be able to drive away.

President Hinckley

President Hinckley was a great man and a great example to all of us. He truly lived life to the fullest and is someone that i respected very much. He will be greatly missed.
