Apparently The Only Thing To Talk About: Parker!

Here are new pictures of the Little Man for Jon to see (and all of you I guess)
I feel like we're entering a whole new chapter of parenting, called "The Mobile Child". He's finally got the roll down and scoots all over on his back. Today I got in the shower and I usually just put Parker on the floor in our bedroom so I can peek my head out and still see him. Well I looked out once and saw he had moved a bit, but was still in sight. I peeked out a minute later and I couldn't see him or hear him growling. So I got out to see where he was and all I could see was one little foot sticking out from under the bed. The little stinker had somehow rolled and wiggled himself all the way under the bed. I couldn't believe he could do that. When I pulled him out he just looked at me like "Hey, I worked hard to get under here and I was having fun. Now put me back!!"

And his newest trick from just the last few days is standing up to furniture. He does good, but is still just in the beginning stages.

Here are a few video's. The first one is of him growling. He growls about 80% of the day. Its cute, but man is he loud. Its almost impossible to hear the TV or a movie when he growling.
The next two are of him standing, their really short and he crashes at the end, but you get the idea.
And the last one is the way he chews on his binky. He hardly ever sucks on it like normal. He just chomps away with his 3 new little teeth.
ENJOY!!

Splish Splash

This is Parker in his new bathtub thingy. He loved sitting up and splashing his hands in the water. By the time he was done most of the water had been splashed out. I didn't get any good still pictures because they all turned out blurry because of his crazy wiggling.

This video is also good becuase it shows him talking. He talks, well its usually more of a growl, 80% of the day. He's so funny and he gets SO LOUD. It make it very hard to try and watch a movie. Everytime I have tried to video him talking before, he stops as soon as he see's the camera.

Easter

For Easter we went to my Aunt's house for an Egg Hunt and then to Konie's for dinner and dessert and to watch part of General Conference.
Parker obviously didn't care a thing about finding the eggs but he just loved to be outside and watch all the other kids running around. It was a little chilly so he was bundled up real nice.

He did like the swing though.
Here he is with all his loot.
I think this picture is so funny. The boys playing with Parker. Daniel is doing whatever it takes to get Parker to laugh (which is basically about anything) and Jaxon thinks he's the perfect target to shoot.
Another new Easter toy.
Other than that, our Easter was pretty quiet.

Utah Time

So for those of you who don't know, Jon is at Sheppard AFB in Texas for 2 1/2 months for training. He has 3 different courses for Missile Munitions Officer Course -MMOC. So while he is gone Parker and I are spending most of our time at my parents house in Wellsville. We've been having a grand old time and having lots of fun playing.
We have webcams which we use to talk to other family members all the time. But of course now that we really want to use them, Jons internet connection is SOO SLOW that the webcams won't work. So I told him I would post lots of pictures on the blog so he could see what his Little Buddy is up to.
So consider yourselves lucky that now I a real reason to blog.
The night before Jon left we met up with some friends and Parker got to play with his little friend "H". Parker is 2 days older than H and I think it is so funny how totally different they are. Parker is probably a good 5lbs heavier than H, yet H can full-on crawl and get into everything. Parker is now just finally enjoying rolling, standing with help, and spending more than 5 minutes on his belly. (It is extremely hard to get a decent picture of two 6 1/2 month old boys)

Parker spends most of his days surrounded with all his toys.
This is Bella. She is my friend Dayna's dog. Pretty sure Parker could have sat and stared at Bella all night long. He was fascinated with her scratching at the kennel and trying to get out.
Can't tell if he is happy, scared, confused, desperate for some help, or worried that he is going to be Bella's dinner. I mean look at her, her tongue is longer that Parker's entire face.
Parker lost all his amazing baby hair (sigh) but its coming back and starting to get longer now. I decided to spike it all out tonight after his bath to show how long it is.
Every kids favorite place to play, the laundry basket.
