Let's see if I remember how to even blog. Maybe if I start uploading pictures from my phone I will be more consistent.

Hogle Zoo
This past week my parents took Parker and I to the zoo. Parker really loved it and it took all 3 of us to keep up with him. He would point at every animal and "ooh and aahh and wow" at everyone. Then he would hurry and run to the next one. My dad wanted a picture of Parker with an animal, any animal, and it didn't happen he was impossible to get to hold still. We also rode the Carousel and Train and he loved those, so Grandpa's seeing a trip to Lagoon in our future.
In all, we had a pretty good time and Parker was totally worn out.

Base Easter Egg Hunt
This last weekend the base had its Easter Egg Hunt. Before the hunt they had a carnival at the Youth Center with crafts and things like that. But Parker isn't quite up to that yet, and I didn't want to deal with other couple hundred kids there, so we skipped that part. They set the Egg Hunt up on the soccer fields and seperated it off by ages. Parker didn't need any direction and went right out and started scooping up the eggs. He got 5 eggs, but considering that there were at least 250 kids there, he did pretty good.
This is about 1/4 of the field. There were seriously a ton of people there and it was over in about 45 seconds.
These two boys are my friend Afton's kids. We spend alot of time with them and Parker is pretty attached to the younger boy. Although, im so sure Jaxon is as fond of Parker as Parker is to Jaxon... ;)

These pictures are from our trip to Wellsville.

This looks like a good little napping spot.
Wheres Parker??
There he is!
See Ya Later.
So after a month and lots of begging from Jon, I guess I will update this blog.
Jon had 2 giant duffle bags that he packed all his gear in. You could have fit about 4 Parkers in each bag. Not surprisingly, Parker didn't take long to get in and play in the bags and mess everything up that Jon had packed. Maybe I should have packed him up so Jon could take his Little Buddy with him.
The day before Jon left we spent the day in Boise. Jon's parents flew in to send Jon off too. We went to a few stores then went to the hotel so Parker could take a nap while Jon went to pick up Scott and Linda. Then we went to Build-A-Bear to get Parker a little Camo Monkey. Maybe Im crazy, but I thought Parker would be way more into it than he was. There were way to many people in there for Parker to pay attention to what we were doing. But in the end, he did love his Monkey.
We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed off to the airport. When you are deploying, your family members can get escort passes to go with you back to the gate. So Jon got all checked in and Parker and I were able to go all the way back with him.
Scott and Linda flew to SLC with Jon. After we said our emotional goodbyes (which by the way I felt like we were putting on a show for the whole airport) they loaded the plane and Parker and I waited by the window and watched the plane take off.
Bye Daddy
