Sickies, Halloween, and a Baldy

On Halloween morning Parker was having a hard time breathing and was coughing alot which would then make him choke. So by the afternoon when it hadn't gone away we decided to take him to ER. They told us that he had bronchitis. So we did the breathing treatment and everything they told. Well then on Wednesday we took him to the doctor here on base for a follow-up and come to find out he didn't have bronchitis. He's just really congested and becuase babies only know how to breath out of their nose, when their congested they cough trying to get air in. So anyways, he's fine. Just congested.

For Halloween Parker was a Giraffe, Jon wore his Taekwondo outfit from Korea, and I was an Aggie fan. Thats about as creative as I get. I hate Halloween, always have, always will.

Cupcake anyone?
In the last 5 days Parkers gone bald right before our eyes. And its not the normal "bald spot" on the back of his head. It on both sides of his head above his ears. Its also thining out on the top and the back. But its still long in the back on his neck. Looks like he has a mullet, short on top, long in the back.

Photoshoot

My friend Kaylene from church asked if she could take some picture of Parker. Of course, why would I turn that down. All these pictures were taken the day he turned 7 weeks. He's sure a handsome little devil.
Yep, he peed all over these books.

I think he look so big in this one.

" Okay Mom, this is really getting old. Get me out of this box."

Daddy's Dogtags and Boots

Cute smile

These next 3 are Parkers blessing tux. We actually did his blessing back in Utah when he was only 6 days old before Jon had to head back down here to Texas. It is adorable, but it drowned him at the time so we didn't get a very good picture or him in it at the time.

This Picture was taken by my dad when Parker when he was 10 days old. He wasn't very cooperative for this little photoshoot.
1 day old.

For our Anniversary/ Christmas present we bought a new couch and loveseat. We also got a coffetable and two end table. The end tables are the same as the coffee table just half the size.

Here's another video.

So lets see if this works.

I have been trying for days to get these dang videos to work. I didn't know it would take so long to upload. So enjoy.

Parker has a fun little smile that he is starting to show us more often and every once in a while we can get a little giggle.

From birth he has had really goopy eyes. Well the last few weeks his left eye has been especially runny and goopy and gets really crusted over. I thought maybe he had and infection so we took him into the doctor on wednesday. No infection, but he does have a clogged tear duct. The doctor said it will just go away or he'll continue to have it forever. If it doesn't go away by the time he's 9 months then we'll have to go see an opthamologist to take care of it.

He weighed 11.1 pounds and was 23.5 inches. He's finally starting to chunk up.

We sure do love our Little Buddy.

Update and New Parker Pics

Since Jon has dropped the pilot program he has been assigned a new career in the Air Force. He has been assigned to Missile and Munitions Maintenance. Were still not exactly sure what that all entails in a career but thats what he has. We also found out that we will be moving to Mountain Home AFB in Idaho. Mountain Home is near Boise and is about 4 hours from Logan and about 7 from Spokane. Were happy that we will be able to visit family more easily. Jon's report date is 30 Nov, so it looks like we wont be staying in Texas long. We will be in Texas just long enough to unpack the boxes in time for the movers to come and pack it all up again.

Trying out the new play mat.
I thought he would be a little too young for it. He likes it though, he lays and stares at everything and every once in a while kicks at the hanging toys.
Jon had to lay down and tell Parker about all toys.
"I am sooo strong"
"Dad, This this is fun"
I love both their grins.
"Can you kick your feet up like this?"

Shower
Parker took a shower with Jon and loved it. Never made a peep the whole time.
Football Time
Today after church Parker wasn't feeling too good and was kind of needy. He cuddled with Jon for a few hours and watched Football. They both were just so content relaxing together. Im sure this will be a Sunday tradition for a long time to come.
